The new Santee Aquatic Park on Bass Drive in Santee, S.C., opened this past weekend. Current hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Updated hours of operation will be posted shortly.
The aquatic park is managed by the YMCA. The cost is $4 for those kids 48 inches and under, and $8 for everyone else. If you are a Orangeburg County YMCA member, then you will receive a $1 discount.
The Santee Aquatic Park is one more welcome addition to the growing tourism and outdoor recreation industry centered around the towns of Santee, Summerton, and beautiful Lake Marion in South Carolina.
The whole family can now enjoy the new aquatic park when you come down and spend your vacation boating, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, bicycling, or playing golf in this slowly growing mecca for nature lovers and outdoor recreation enthusiasts.

Took my grandkids to the new Santee Aquatic Park and was very pleased. Small, but very nice. Great staff, very clean, well run and everyone there was having fun. If you are staying in the area and have kids or grandkids, I highly recommend you plan a day at the park.
