Clarendon County SC: Comprehensive 10 Year Plan (2018-2028)
A public hearing will be held by Clarendon County Council at 6:00 p.m.
on Monday, November 12, 2018 in the Council Chambers of the Clarendon
County Administration Building located at 411 Sunset Drive in Manning,
SC, regarding the adoption of the proposed "Clarendon County
Comprehensive 10 Year Plan".
A hard copy of the proposed Comprehensive
Plan, Ordinance #2018-11, is available for public inspection in the
Clarendon County Planning Commission office located at 411 Sunset Drive
in Manning, SC, or you may direct inquiries by telephone to
803-435-8672. It is also available online. See Comprehensive Plan
It would be in the best interests of all business and community leaders to take the time to read the Comprehensive Plan and consider attending the public hearing if they have concerns and/or suggested changes to the plan.
The Town of Summerton's "Comprehensive 10 Year Plan" is currently being developed and will be impacted by the Clarendon County plan. Business and community leaders need to be actively involved in the development of the final version of the town's plan.
Have found almost no mention of fostering investment and growth of Information Technology in Clarendon. A mention of maintaining and updating the county government web site, but that's it. Hard to believe in this 21st century Information Age. Am still plugging away, reading in depth,and searching on terms Internet, Web, Telecommunications, Information, Technology...
